What We Believe

What We Believe

A central pillar of Baptist beliefs is the Great Commission. Jesus Christ commanded all of his believers in Matthew 28:16-20,

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:16-20

Our vision and mission as a church reflect our commitment to doing our part as believers to fulfill the Great Commission.

Vision

As a body of believers, our vision is to connect the people of our community to Christ through the truth of God’s word.

Mission

In order to achieve our vision, we reach up, bring in and send out. Meaning we reach up to God for His love and guidance as we bring people into the church to share and teach in preparation to send them back out to our community and the world as messengers of Christ’s message.
